The tracker will be in the dash above the glove box . Take the A pillar trims out , then unscrew the center dash air vent and pull the dash top towards you to access .

The way I see it is they put them in different places to make it not so easy for the car thieves. A real pain if your battery keeps draining. Best thing I did removing mine not had a flat battery in a year and still on the one fitted when I bought the car over two years ago.

Hi for what its worth I have a 2005 4200 CC and the NavTrak unit is located under the rear parcel shelf. I had a new one installed some years after buying the car, I seem to remember access through the rear seat central armrest, just pull the leather inset down from the top to reveal some heavy metal framework, but can not remember any further details. I have not bothered renewing for years and would like to take mine out completely if any body has an idiots guide, this idiot would be grateful as he is getting fed up with the constant battery drain. Cheers

Pretty sure Mike did one and if I remember his was in that location.
Message MJHeathcote as I think his pics were taken down.
I'd get a auto electrician to do if your not confident but I think Navtrack will remove for free.

As said, they can be positioned anywhere, and without giving too much away being an open forum, it was in the back!
If you look at all this old tech, it is not hard to find!

Very informative post on here, my insurance company require the tracker activated. I called Vodafone and they needed the box serial number as registration or vin number won’t work as they don’t appear to have the navtrack database. Following all the advice on here and getting the spanner’s out, I now have the serial number. Thanks to everyone for their input.

On my Gransport it was in the inner rear wing, behind the interior panel, on the floor.

A favourite as the loom travels through that part of the body.
