Hi folks

Can anyone assist with the actual name of the colour of my interior please?? Seemingly there are a few different types of tan and I would like to know exactly which type mine is please.

Thanks in advance!

Gary

It looks like avorio but I can see why you're not sure as there are a few options that are similar.

If you are using the flash in it might be beige leather being washed out.

Avorio (cream) is very white and Beige has a hint of yellow in it.

It's beige...exactly the same shade as Ferrari crema. I had one of my seats touched up and the crema was a perfect match.

Neil, that's strange, My 550 is crema and my QP is beige...and they are not the same colour...the beige is darker...crema is more like avorio.

That is strange Enzo. The guys told me they used crema dye. They do all the work for the local F dealer. My spec says the interior is beige but hey it could as easily be avorio.

That looks identical to mine 'beige' (beige must still be beige in Italian!) also with the blue piping, although I have 'tappeto biondo' carpets instead of the blue. Your paint looks like 'blue Sebring' as well!
Totally biased, but a lovely colour combo!

Mike

Edit: phone Maserati UK with your vin and they will tell you the full build spec. My local main dealer also printed out the build spec off their computer system, colours, options etc.

Well it looks like the beige has it but to be sure I might just drop a line as advised by MJ to Maserati for actual confirmation.

Thanks for all the replies though guys :)

Liking it doesn't even come close Dem!! The feeling (as you well know) is beyond anything mechanically I've ever had before and I am still pinching myself over it. I think in the UK Maserati ownership is more realistic than it is over here for oft-discussed reasons so it seems to sweeten the feeling even more.

It's just very, very special......

Ha ha agreed! Soul-less, sterile machines. Undoubtedly capable but they just leave me cold......

As an aside, I've been onto the UK Maserati website and they only seem to give a phone number when I'm really after an email address - maybe I'm being a bit blonde but I can't seem to find a contact email address!

Does anyone have one on file where I can ask the question re-the exact colour and codes for my beauty please??

Gary, try Paul Hyatt, Technical Services, at p.hyatt@maserati.com. You are right that e mail details are frustratingly well hidden. Not only that but they changed from .co.uk to .com at some point, so a lot of old posts aren't correct, and people on this and other sites will just say "oh, just e mail Paul" - without saying which Paul (more than one at Maserati UK) at which address. Frustrating!

Hi Norman

I've tried p.hyatt on both .com and .co.uk but have delivery failures for both so not sure what the story is there unless he's maybe left the department? I shall await any other options from the fine fellows on here before developing a Plan B!!

Cheers

I thought you could get the trim code off the VIN number and then look that code up together the colour.
