Yes, I myself and Loz are of a similar mould when it comes to keeping cars detailed, selection of brushes etc for dusting, madness!
The car was sold and I have emailed him a few times and all seems well. I put loads of money into her so he has reaped the rewards of a properly maintained car.
Dem, which badges are you talking about? As for the engine, best to use chemicals, elbow grease, and clutch and brake or carb injector cleaner, you will be amazed how well it comes us, then a liberal dusting of silicone spray. The cleaners are mega flamible so dont smoke or use on a hot engine, best to let it happen when its cold, see here:
Matt, that looks a fine example ... I have noticed that the 3200 sems to be going up in price slightly .. A few months back there was a number of cars for sale under 10k now most are over 11k ..
Andy , I been looking at 3200's over the last few months. I think the price for a decent example has remained pretty stable. the only ones i remember under 10k were ones that would have needed a lot of money spent and a well maintained bargepole.
