Specs for spacers Chris

Thanks Brian,

These are a good alternative. I used them on my Granturismo, but went with 15mm front and 22mm rear.

I actually saw these last night and at £100 cheaper than H&R think I’ll go with them.
From the same seller Toole Automotive…their GT webpage is a good one stop shop for upgrades

I originally bought a set from Tooleauto and had to return them as they had a raised/shamfered lip preventing the wheel sitting right. That’s when I ordered H&R.
Looking at the pics on-line at Tooleauto, it is possible they have corrected this by now but I would check that before ordering.

Worth checking but mine were absolutely fine

Thought I’d better update my thread.
- Replaced front right Neptune alloy as it turned out to be buckled and was causing suspension mayhem. This did the trick and my previous suspension woes have completely disappeared.
- Drove to AV first thing this morning and had the toe-in adjusted again for high speed stability. Car is far less nervous now and stable.

Really looking forward to the after! Hope they can keep the overheads down! ;o)
They start on it this afternoon. Should be ready in a few days. Fairly big job, seats and parcel shelf out, pillars off. Then the entire headliner board comes out of the car to be re-trimmed.
Will post pics when I get it back.

Don’t know about you but my QP seatbelts are really slow and weak at retracting nowadays. If you have similar, might be cost effective to change them now. However if yours are fine then obviously no need.

Thanks for the heads up. Mine seem to be ok for now :)

Also had a clutch reading at AV Engineering, mostly for peace of mind.
33.61% worn - see pic.
I’ve done 25,000 km since purchase when the reading was around 15% worn. Not bad going at all - roughly 1% per 1200 miles by my calculation.
My clutch was replaced at 60,000 km and I am now on 123,000 km. That means the 33% usage has done 63,000 km or 40,000 miles!

Copy post just to update my thread.
Just collected the GT from Vamped Trim.
They’ve done a tremendous job. Personally I think it looks so much better in the flesh than the OEM cloth. Difficult to get accurate pics of black inside a black leather car but I’ve tried. I did not get the sun visors done as that would mean removing the mirrors. However, on a black interior they actually blend in fine and you honestly don’t notice them at all.
Very happy with the result.3D1512EA-F605-4CCB-90B1-6A6FC21F68A7.jpegBEAAFBBC-D92A-4DCF-9875-B1186E43226C.jpeg173ABE7E-85D8-418D-9C32-1C6CD30E09FA.jpeg99C75104-F727-4931-92CB-8F47E90F884C.jpeg23B2E19D-7170-48FB-AB42-353179B1DB76.jpegA3CB750E-C1B4-4FED-8E69-E71CBB2546E7.jpeg61AA28F8-3F52-43D6-97FB-22AEC89B7B40.jpeg362E314C-8B1D-4579-B1D4-2D233ECDFE94.jpegD870D493-1247-4E59-810D-64F248CBC8C5.jpeg

Finally, the car is pretty much how I want it now. I’ve done a fair amount of upgrades and improvements over the past few years without altering the actual fabric of the car I think.
My last job (unless I think of something else)
is to paint red enamel stripes on the front and side badges, they’ve all washed away over time.
After that I will have a go at cleaning the interior properly including the switch gear.. it’s not actually too bad or sticky, but needs some tlc.

That’s a great upgrade - worth considering even if the existing is not sagging yet !

Thanks Scaf.
Hand on heart, the pics really don’t do it justice. It looks (and feels) so much more luxurious and the attention to detail and finish is second to none.
Very inexpensive upgrade too given the amount of work involved and the end result.
It completely ‘lifts’ the interior (No pun intended) ;)

Awesome job @Bebs. My first GT has a blue alcantara OEM headlining and once I sat in the car and saw how glorious it made the interior feel I had to buy the car. It’s the one thing missing from my 2019 GT which has standard headlining probably the same as your old one. How much did it set you back (if you don’t mind sharing or PM me if you do!). Think that’s an upgrade that worth the investment and suits these cars.

£550 + vat inc material. Absolute bargain for that amount of work (seats out, parcel shelf out, entire headliner plate out and all 6 pillars out)
