Hi All
I've been researching upgrades to the back boxes and centre section of the GTS exhaust, as I am hoping to liberate another 20-25 horses from that glorious engine, taking it north of 530. I've been recommended Larini or Capristo X pipes and new valved back boxes to achieve these figures, but I am pushing for the Capristo as it will work with the a Sport button, without having the need for a separate remote.
Has anyone tried this, or do they have any recommendations?
Thanks

X pipe is an X pipe, it adds noise and HP, regardless of who builds it.

Of I were you I would contact Noor at Toreno Performance.

Great if you're going to track it regularly or taking her to Germany/Isle of Man, other wise?

How have you got 507 out of it?

The magicians at DMS took it from 452 to 507.... They tried 16 different maps until they got it right. It's increased the torque, pulls harder from low down and screams around to 8k. The exhaust note has changed (sounds even better!) and the acceleration is noticeably quicker.

Hi P
To be honest, I was looking for that little bit extra, that for me, was just the icing on the cake of what already is an incredible car, as I found on the quiet Sunday morning drive(!), I was always looking for a bit more. Plus understanding the heritage of the power plant, there was a lot of untapped potential to unlock, that has now made the car even more unique!
Horses for courses I suppose.

I'm not sure if any of thats true...with a standard normally aspirated road car engine theres only so much you can do with fuel and ignition mapping...Sure you can swap the cams and do head mods...The factory knew this from there hundreds and thousands of miles of R&D

With a nicely designed old school forced induction turbo engine the skys the limit ..and It's very easy
