I changed my entire set to Michellins super sport as well. Didn't really feel that much difference. I can still lose traction! :p

I'm on the Continental SC3s, still happy after seven months with them. Will put my winter SottosZeros on in six weeks or so.

I'm on P Zeros and they're not the best but they're virtually new so they will stay on for a little while yet. I will definitely be looking at alternatives when the time comes to change however

Just had a Yuasa Black unlimited fitted for 150, runs ok and no errors apart from stupid transmission problem see dealer, park off light coming on. was hoping that would have been sorted with battery lol.

Going to Marios anyway for this and rear tyres, but have to be next week now. Day off taken up with battery.

Stewart what was the problem with this? I'm thinking of throwing a new battery at mine given Halfords have just tested it as 'borderline'.

Morning All

So was heading over to Marios for him to take a look at lights coming on like christmas warning me of impending doom, also to take a look at why Park OFF light still keeps coming on and rear handbrake sounds like engaged whilst driving but can't get in the car, used the key and thought hmmmm this sounds like a dead battery and yep there is no life to start her.

Left a message for Marios but has anyone got the AA to fit a new battery before, do they have suitable high quality ones ? Im a full on AA member of 10+ years so they will come out, but before I start to let them near Ive read about not jump starting the car and thus want to make sure they don't do anything stupid and Im going to assume being a 2008 with less than 15K miles on when I bought it she hasn't had a battery change from factory.

Where is the battery ? How can I tell if original fit ?

Stewart

I got the RAC to come to my house to fit a new battery. It was dead simple.

The battery had given up the ghost after 5 years (thanks Bowkers....)

After 7 months, my Yuasa was giving me problems so I swapped it for a Bosch S5. The supplier of my Yuasa would only swap like for like under the warranty and being that they were a 150 mile round trip away, it seemed a false economy to so I bit the bullet and went for a better one which has been great from the get go

Yep. I have a new S5 on order. I was just wondering what specifically Stewart had with the Transmission light.
