They've been taken over by Protyre. My experience so far is that the service is the same as before. Will take a longer-term view over time.
Protyre = Micheldever = Sumitomo Rubber Industries. They've been buying up and rebranding indies:

Micheldever has been around for donkey's years and back in the good old days they used to take whole page ads in Motoring News. You can usually save a few quid by buying online through Asda and using 'Protyre' fitting centres (other centres are probably available).

I am quite close to the middle of nowhere nowadays so mail order suits. Can get the local mechanic to fit for £10/15 per corner. Luckily yer QP interior can host up to four 20" tyres. Sensible family car.

... for sensible family people.

This thread has reminded me that I need my four-wheel alignment and balancing done. There were certain speeds at Le Mans last year where it was a wee bit more vibratey than inspires confidence.

I shudder to think what your mail order suits look like if the blue snake skin jacket you bought at the Goodwood Revival is anything to go by!

I recently went through sorting the Strad with four new Pilot Sport 4s and alignment/geo at ProTyre (Formerly Wheels in Motion). Car feels significantly better to drive now, much less tramlining and much more confidence pushing the car on. Having had both undertaken at the same time I can't comment what has made more of the difference but money well spent. For info tyres previously were P Zero on the fronts and P Zero Corsa on the rears, I had failed to pick up on the difference on axles when purchasing the car from the MD.

For those looking at getting Pilot Sport 4s, at the time fronts seemed readily available in a few places but finding rears which are non manufacturer specific seems impossible, Mercedes/Porsche/Ferrari were available so ended up with Ferrari (k1) on the rears.

Thanks to Matt and Sports Italia for sorting and fitting the tyres and I think from memory it was Joe at ProTyre (WIM) who did the work there.

It's the other way around now. 295 available, 255 not so much.

PS5's seem to be getting a a thumbs up grippy review from some s2000 owners - and they seem to be half the price for an s2000 than for my spyder
