Mel Gibson - drives a Maserati, but life is not so good

Though he appears to be driving a Quattroporte Exec GT, it appears Mel Gibson's life is not so good at the moment.

The photo below was apparently taken an hour before he wrecked his Maserati on Malibu Canyon Road last night, X17 cameras caught the 54-year-old actor leaving his church, the Holy Family Catholic Church in Malibu.

Police confirmed that at 8:35pm Gibson lost control of his car and struck a rocky hillside. "Driving under the influence" is not suspected in the accident. He was not injured in the accident.

This following his alleged abusive rants to his estranged girlfriend and custody battle...

Maybe we should invite Mel to join the forum. At least he'd be amongst friends and we could counsel him during this difficult time in his life. Actually, maybe we should offer a place of solace and support to all celebrity Maser drivers, just to make sure they don't go off the rails.

That would eventually lead to more celebrities buying Maseratis, just because they know there's a decent group of like-minded souls out there to support them when the pressures of fame and fortune get too much for them.

On that basis, who do we think should buy a Maserati and take advantage of this new counselling service?
