PS, @CLRut, it is imperative that you stick around on here even if your next car will have been built slightly closer to home.

PPS, @StuartW, well done! I'm pleased that you had first dibs on Craig's Strad because if he'd advertised it here then I'd have had a domestic disturbance to deal with.

I plan on staying around as I've enjoyed the community spirit on here and the general willingness to share knowledge/support. Please don't post lots of Stradale videos though as I'll get upset at the loss of the epic V8 noise :0036:. Never mind - I've got first dibs back when/if Stuart ever sells it in the future ;). I'm not holding my breath on this one.....

Completely concur on the comments around the car/colour - when I bought it 5 yrs ago, I couldn't believe others had not gone down the same direction (a challenge I'm increasingly finding in the hoped-for next car where black/grey shades again seem to dominate!). The original owner had had the car a little under a year and had v good taste as didn't overdo things. The factory also did a surprisingly good job on the paint as when I had it Gtechniq'd, they measured the paint thickness and it was way more than any Ferrari they had seen.

It is amazing that there aren't more coloured Strads. Same with your likely next car. When I was hunting for mine I had no intention of getting a white car, but with the black painted roof and whatever the vertical bit of the boot is called it looked good. But I'd still love one in blue.

I said farewell to Strad #1 today, now in the safe hands of @dickygrace to prepare it and no doubt make it even better than when I bought it in 2016. Thank you Dicky for a very pleasant and smooth transaction, and I am sure that the next owner will have a great time with it

Has Dicky managed to get it a little sideways on your wet drive?!
Thankfully no, just the angle out of the drive; raining and a smoothly surfaced road in a Stradale you’ve just collected. I’d have never lived that one down :)

The closing of the triangle of Stradale trade :) - hope it goes to a lovely new home to further cherish it.
