Yes. If a car ever needs this it would be the QP Duo Selects. I have the FD module which makes a difference. But this wold be very welcome upgrade.

Yeah I got a response from him. He mentioned he doesn’t know the details but has to check with the mechanic who did the job to know the details .
I spoke with my Ferrari Indie mechanic , he said he’s getting a Leonardo machine which will allow him to load the firmware.

Now all I need is the actual firmware file , I posted a thread on FerrariChat waiting to see anyone has it ( which I somehow doubt average owners have such a thing ).

Pretty much as long as I have the file and know what was done ( procedural wise ) I think I will be able to do it here in NZ

I’m resurrecting this in case someone can help or shed some light . Still trying to get my hands on the 599 GTO TCU firmware so my local maserati mech can use his Leonardo tool to upload it to my MC Shift

Alas not. You need the software and have to link to the factory to apply it (Ferrari).

No, you need (I think) SDX. @conaero will know the correct name, but it doesn't seem to be a widely available tool.

Ferrari are very good at protecting their brand and IPR and have a team of legal bods ready to deal with any infringements.

My mate, who I go to Le Mans with, was looking to go into business with a guy building 250 Californias on a Z3 until they got a letter and then a knock on the door from one of these legal representatives who politely informed them of the repercussions if they continued.
