Well Im off to China (Tianjin) in September, and the wife has said we should pop along to the Masser dealership in Beijing and see if I can blag a test drive in a QP GTS or Gran Turismo around Tian'anmen Square as its quite close. Look out for me getting into trouble in the International news Lol

Cant argue with that noor, perhaps.... as some have suggested before. If I turn up at the Beijing dealership, they may well think Ive got links with the Chinese mafia. As the QP seems to be the car of choice for them!!

I have to agree Andrew, I'll don a suit.... and given that Im a Brit, they will propably assume (incorrectly) that Ive got bags of cash. If I do pull it off Ill try and get some pics of the event

I onced lived in China in a small place called Shekou, only saw a Quattroporte once and that had Hong Kong plates on, however with the standard of driving over there i would never dream of driving around in a massa, had a moped, that ended up in the side of a police car so i made a "sharp" exit, the fear of becoming an organ donor was to much, good luck with the blagg, im sure u will pull it off :)

Nice one phil..... I know what you mean about driving in China.... the roads, well they are just terrible. Im guessing no one drives a masser or anything else nice outside of the major cities. I saw that there are masser dealerships in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong

I found the further north you go the standards do improve somewhat, I was in the south, shenzhen/guanzhou area and it was a zoo, never forget seeing a full size snooker table balanced on the back of a small motorbike gunning it down expressway
