I've been in Wings! It was open in 2014. Had my one and only frogs leg in there....

Interestingly, there are some options like the seat back shelves and what appears to be a complete
entertainment gubbins between the front seats, that I've not seen that often in older QPs.

Not a bad commute!

Small world, that’s my neck of the woods...used to live in Warton for 9 years and still have a house there.

My dad worked for BAE Warton under Rolls Royce before retiring a couple years back too and a number of pals work there now still.

Ironically whilst still based in Preston, I’m working for a food company based 10 mins from Farnborough in Camberley...but don’t get the pleasure of a private jet!

My old man was at Sperry in Bracknell and then BAE Stevenage for years. Retired probably twenty years ago, and I still have no idea what he did! He's got some pretty cool paper weights though from factory parts that failed quality control.

Beautiful GranSport snapped this AM just outside Reigate (Woodhatch... pronounced Wood-'atch if you're a proper local)... I waved frantically at him and I think he must have thought I was insane... I was in my Beemer.

Silver/grey GC (something MAS) on the a34 towards oxford, roof down enjoying the weather. Mine was the next exit so convoy didn’t last long, sure it sounded good though :alan4:

Ha! Yes that was me. I spotted you waiving at the last second before I pulled away!. I was on my way to get my new X pipe fitted.

Primarily Avionics and General Systems procurement on Tornado, Harrier, Hawk, Eurofighter Typhoon and finally F35 for the last 9 months of my career. Had some fantastic experiences working on these programmes.

Got to admit we were 'spoilt' by having our own aircraft shuttle service which operated daily, but given the place already had its own operational runway it was actually cheaper overall to fly people down to Farnborough than let hundreds of people a week travel to and from Warton, spending hours of unproductive time on the motorways or in hotels etc..attending technical or Supplier reviews.
