Selling my beloved gts as I have a stradale on the way..... It has full supplying main dealer service history with only an oil service due in approx 12 months, I have improved and maintained it regardless of cost recently it's had new brake pads and tyres all round and Gtech ceramic coating also an xpipe so sounds amazing, I will add photos soon as too large to upload but here's the eBay link, would love it to go to a forum member if possible x

It looks lovely. All the best for a good sale to someone who'll enjoy and treat her properly!
When does the Strad arrive?

Good luck with the sale mate-

I have seen the car and can vouch for the fact it's spotless and well looked after.
Great interior too with the added alcantara.

Look forward to seeing the new car!

Have you thought of part ex?
I dont think you'll get anywhere near what your asking though. Maybe £32-33k

I agree with you and comment less on price than I used to as this forum has an over inflated view on what our cars are worth. It's largely due to a mis-understanding of what dealer margins are on (semi) exotic cars but if the OP can finder the right buyer then both can do better than they would using many retailers. For me I would do SOR with Dicky as there are so many good reports on him from both buyers and sellers and he was very nice with me when I popped in on a trip south even though he knew I would not be selling my GTS anytime soon.

I called Dicky and he suggested I'd need to put brakes and a clutch in my old one. So he suggested asking £36-£37 but I'd need to spend £5k on the work so £31-32k without the work and my old car only had 32000 miles. I got more than Dicky's suggested selling price in part ex from the garage that I bought my Strad from and I didn't have to put brakes and clutch on it. No brainer for me.

And now it's up for 47k with dealer I believe. Best looking GTS for sale under 50k for me. Perfect colour and spec.

The key thing is you got a deal you were happy with. The logical thing to also add into the mix is also how the Stradale pricing (and discount) would vary whether you were part exchanging or not.

I was happy with the deal. Yes they've banged a big profit on it but I think their expecting to do brakes and clutch in that price.

With that knowledge though could you talk them down on price?

I made what I thought was a reasonable offer expecting them to come back and say no, but we will meet you at this but there was no chance, they will take a bit of a hit on price I think if someone unwaring doesn't realise the clutch is close, I.e. They may knock 1k off... basically they told me they would do brakes tyres and clutch but then there was no movement on price which I still considered to be over what "I" think it's worth!!
