Very interesting, thanks for posting.

This 2003 Trofeo series was very similar to the one that my car competed in but the difference being that at the end of the Trofeo series, the 2016 cars were sold off to private teams with factory support rather than Maserati themselves entering the various series around the world which was a real shame.

It will be interesting to see how the MC20 goes when life gets back to normal. Maserati had indicated that they intend to go racing again but who knows if this will be seen as a priority by then

That is not a bad way to go racing if that is something you want to tick off in life. Seems expensive at first glance but way cheaper than doing it yourself at that level I guess.

Inaccuracies galore - Group A wasn’t a Ghibli. Also failed to mention the Ghibli Open Cup.

Precisely - and the Ghibli Cup achieved some great results in the Italian GT series in the late 1990s, including wins against Porsche and Ferrari opposition.
