Hi all, I am struggling to find a Maserati garage to service my car near me? Can anyone recommend a independent specialist in South Wales or somewhere along the M4 Corridor to Reading?

Not sure if there is one in Wales. I did see someone post an advert for someone in Wales a year or two ago but not heard anything from them since. If I was having my car done I would take it to http://www.sportsitalia.co.uk which is miles away but make a mini break out of it. It’s the forum garage and well respected. I also think Dick Lovett Ferrari in Swindon will still service your car even though they are no longer a Maserati dealer. Sure some owners will be along soon to give some other options.

I drove down there to check them out, not far from the race track on a small industrial estate but the road in is atrocious (full of potholes) so didn’t bother.
try Dale at Prestige autoworks (mobile ex Maserati tech) and very good.

A nice and open informative website and been in business for a few years too.
Surprised they never paid us a visit when we were on track all those times.

Didn’t realise they were their Phil as if I did I would have invited them along. Maybe at the next one.

Coordinate your services with others for SI and the transporter works out far cheaper.

I am waiting for a slot for mine to come back, and it is always cheaper to take advantage of the empty truck on its way back.

I used Dick Lovett, Ferrari/Maserati Swindon for the first few years of ownership even though from the North Cotswolds, other dealers were nearer. Delightful service. It wasn't until I discovered one of the best independent service centres for Maserati di I realise that some items could have had better attention, and difficult areas overlooked.
As a result, I now swing left at Swindon, continue to Reading, swing right and head towards Southampton.
SportsItalia now look after my GT, have done extensive work, not only servicing, but paid attention to those items that were overlooked and rectified before they become catastrophic. Mechanical, Suspension, underbody protection, NIT, Variators, Cooling, Air Conditioning, NITs, external detailing and renovation, internal leather and detailing, and did I say NITs?

They are verging on perfectionist, without the price tag.
I've always been concerned with having work done that is necessary or preventative rather than BMW agent style, 'it just be done because BMW agency requires it' whther necessary or not.

Save heartache, get peace of mind, and save a shed load of pound notes. Go there; at least give Matt a ring
My GT won't go anywhere else.

Can people stop recommending SportsItalia, please? I've just booked my QP in there for about 7 months of work, and I don't want them to distracted by other customers. :D

Ive had a very bad experience with Cowbridge specialists with my quattroporte so please please avoid. County court action taken and CCJ awarded against them but no money returned as yet

Just read your message about them, sounds scary! To be fair I used them to do my brakes, fuel filler neck (I was heavy handed!) and a few other bits and found the to be fine. They also did a service with no issues. Admittedly it was a little "rough and ready" and the the courtesy cars were not great, but they were reasonably priced?

Where do you go now? I dont really know of anywhere nearby and Swindon Ferrari want stupid money, mine is only a Ghibli Diesel?
