I'm sure some idiots will pay the premium.

I'm always amazed at how people spend hours in supermarkets trying to get the best bargains, but when it comes to cars their basic economic prudence goes out the window. The guy I bought my GTV off, for instance, had it from new (cost £28K) and he sold it to me 3 years later for £9.5K. That's 7 or 8 grand a year to run an Alfa! (servicing, insurance, depreciation)

Buy a good Gransport these days and you will probably only lose a couple of grand in depreciation per 10,000 miles driven.
