I think it's you (or more likely your computer screen). It's a multiple concours winning car worth three quarters of a million pounds, and I very much doubt there has been scrimping on painting a door. All looks okay on my screen.

I had a look at the dark red Aston Martin DBS V8 they have. Fantastic restoration - but some of the charm has therefore been lost. And huge money. £315k was spent on the restoration (excluding the price of the car in the first place). The asking price is £289k - which is massive for a DBS.

It looked pretty good when I saw it at the Motorhub in March. Looking at the picture you posted I'd say it is the reflection of the car park in the paint that's causing the colour variation. Here's one from my visit. This is the first car on my list when I win the EuroMillions at the weekend

I can see why you would say that, it look odd on my phone, clearly a lighting Or reflection given the quality of the car in question

You would hope so and could well be the reflection. Silver and grey are the worse colours to match apparently.
