evening all.......
So who's gonna buy my wheels lolol
thought i'd post here rather than on the newbs bit as it makes a bit more sense to me.
Now looking through all these posts it would appear that i'm selling these on the cheap.
Ok here's the point i have all the parts to put the wheels on the car, i even have a set of through bolted Brembo, rather than the standard cross bolt, spacers, disks from f40, (but as we all know ther are just 330mm brembo's), even had a set 3200 turbos' for it but sold them last year.
I run a small engineering company so the lads at work have put it back to standard, and its at this point, i'm wondering whether to sell it or not. i've had the car since it was 3 years old. Loved every moment of it. There were so many M3's out there, but only a handful of 2.8GT's, so i opted for it.
It has got a set of pipes on it now, it sounds loud, thats how i like cars. Just me i suppose. Maserati were never meant to silent. Anyway after not running for 3 years, got the lads to do an oil change, take the plugs out and spin the engine, Fired up first time. Who ever said maserati wiring was **** lol. Although the front signal bulb failed, Just to make a point it had a £1700 service just before i decided to put the wheels on it, and hasn't run since.
So thats me, my car, and a few probs, not going to mention any names as the garage that was doing the conversion, i suppose just wasn't up to the engineering challenge, some things just cant be plugged into a pc. lol oh and they even lost the wallet with all the original service book and paper work. Happy days, luckily i think i have most of the service receipts.....

If you can get to one of our meets you definately wont sell it , so much commarderie and joint effort on here , it makes ownership problems easy , and just to get things straight im the old fart round here , we have grand pappy urby when he's about so we will have to call you Uncle malc voice of reason if thats ok with you , what neck of the woods are you in
