Maserati Academy

I was walking back to work from Greggs one lunchtime last week and noticed that one of the nearby office units had a large 'Maserati Academy' sign on the front.

Now, I've never noticed this before. The options are:

a) It's something new

b) The high levels of salt in the 3 steak slices I consumed made me briefly hallucinate

If the the answer is a) then what is this place? I am reliably informed that it is possible to do a degree in surfing, but surely you can't pack your kid off to do a course in Maserati's?

Or maybe this establishment is a place to learn how to 'handle' your Maserati?

Confused of Slough.

Doesn't sound like thier normal Academy venue...they do offer winter driving and race courses.

Maybe thus is a Tec Centre?

Evidently Maserati dealership training is currently done in a pretty ordinary office block. Maybe that was it?

Could be, Maserati HQ is just round the corner. Can't imagine the unit gets much use through the year, if so.

I know that they have a large warehouse round the corner from their Slough HQ where they store their own fleet and where their master technician carries out repairs but I have now idea where this academy is so don't know if this is the same thing?

Yeah, it's all on the same road.

There is usually some nice metal in their pen. There was a white GranCab Stradale in there last week.

Very cool, it's where mine has been living for the last 3 years when it's not been out on tour
