Mr Cynical here again but...with those many terms and conditions and it being an exchange item i very much doubt that he would ever honour any warrenty.
He will use any excuse to not pay out and most likely he will say something like incorrect oil grade or ancilleries caused the failure.
i would not pay that for a swap out unit anyway but if needs must i guess.
I used to work near a replacement exchange, engine and gearbox company in london and the que of returned cars every week was an eye opener.
In the end they declaired themselves bankrupt and did a runner.

Sounds to me like this is from our very own Duncan of England , he lives up the road from me and has started to dabble in Masser circles , if anyone is interested i can check

Yes, it is Duncan of England. With regard to the disclaimers, none of them sound unreasonable to me if fairly applied. Seller needs to be confident that if he stumps up for the engine it is down to his fault, not someone else's.
