Good luck with the sale. Shame to identify another local (South Shrops) owner when you are selling.

GLWS....looks nice. Going to be a tough one though and might need to go silly cheap if it sells at all with CV effect. The Maserati market was already small. It is much smaller now.

Was the WBAC price silly? If not it might be worth a look.

Wbac would make you want to top yourself, probably £7k-8k

Spot on rockits, they've offered me 5.5k! I honestly don't know how they're still in business with the ridiculous offers they give!

There are some anomalies, I got £500 less for a CatC B class than ford offered me in PX against a mustang two years ago , that was sunday , I bet it's £1000 lower today

The problem is and you're not going to like me saying it......that is all it is worth trade at the moment and was even before CV. The CV will make it worse. If you need quick cash I would sell it as fast as you can privately. Even take a silly offer as anything over £6k will be a good deal at the moment
If you don't need the money.....keep it.

These cars are getting into a funny place now IMHO. People who are doing well and have money will want something newer and more expensive. People that don't...... can't afford it. There are people who will want it but it will be a small market.

The longer this CV goes on and gets harder/deeper the less chance you will be able to sell it regardless of price. If I were WBAC I would be offer sub £5k.....I think they are offering a decent price if I'm honest. Sounds weird to say that and I'm sorry to say it but it seems to be the reality at the moment.

Looks like a really nice example, but the mileage will hurt its value. Still, got to be worth 10k surely?
Please let us know how you get on, always good to hear genuine market stories. Good luck

nice colour - matched mine ;)

if its a rare manual I would get a picture from the passenger side showing the interior with the gear stick.

best of luck

Rockits/Dean has it bang on. It's a £5k car to most traders and some wouldn't touch it with a bargepole right now or in the future. If you NEED the cash take what you are offered.

I just sold a Volvo 480 Turbo on eBay. Why not stick it on there and see what happens?

I chatted to a dealer friend yesterday (CEO of a big chain with circa 60 dealerships and 2000 staff). As I understand it, it’s illegal for them (or anyone) to collect or deliver a car sold now, but customers can pay deposits to reserve cars, for collection/delivery when the lock-down ends. So if you see a car you like, you can reserve it - but you will be buying sight unseen, so a risk if it’s a private sale on eBay (or similar).
