uesful spare.....anyone off here?

THE UNIT IS WORKING PERFECTLY AS I REMOVED IT FROM MY CAR WHICH WAS SUFFERING AN ACCELERATION PROBLEM. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE AIR FLOW METER, THATS WHY IN THE PICTURES YOU CAN SEE THE MASERATI PARTS BOX AS I BOUGHT A NEW ONE !!!

THIS DID NOT CURE MY PROBLEM AS IT TURNED OUT TO BE FUEL INJECTORS PLAYING UP !!

AS YOU KNOW ONCE AN ELECTRICAL PART IS FITTED IT CANNOT BE RETURNED SO THIS USED BUT PERFECTLY FUNCIONING AIR FLOW METER IS SURPLUS TO MY NEEDS.

THIS PART COSTS £120 IF YOU ARE BUYING IT FROM A MASERATI APPROVED GARAGE, I KNOW, I'VE JUST BOUGHT ONE.....

His ads words above.

Hi Frank. How are you? Great to meet you at Graypauls. Thanks for the heads up on this (£120 for a bit of plastic tube and a resistor seems a bit steep! Didn't they show on Blue Peter how to make this with an old used washing up bottle and a coat hanger?)

On Lozs write up about cleaning the MUF I mean his MAF that there is an equivalent one from an Alfa V6 ? I may bid on this one and try cleaning the MAF but as you saw, my car performance is not bad. BTW with all that spirited driving on the way back from Graypauls I spilled my tin of CS speed fluid on the passenger floor and some on my new Maserati Handbook. Fortunately I had a rubber mat on the passenger footwell but my handbook got a bit marked. I'll email the guy and ask how he diagnosed his injectors were the problem.
cheers.
Paul

PS Is it true that any non catastrophic CEL faults will cancel after 20 or so starts?
