Hi Nick, I got an email back from Graham (the guy that's leading the Sporting Bears at this show); the 6-8:30am are for those displaying their cars but he said the gates don't open to the public until 10 am (which lines up with the info on the following page: link).

I guess Sporting Bears drivers don't have to be there as early as they don't have to set up the cars for display in the same way (as we'll be driving on & off site when taking people out on the Dream Rides).

Don't blame you for aiming to arrive around half 8, especially as you're coming from York!

Hi Tony,

Nice to have met you (albeit far too briefly, apologies for that!) It was a great day though - great weather , great cars, good venue, and the Sporting Bears Dream Rides raised lots of money for the When You Wish Upon a Star charity :D

The day went sooooo quickly. I didn't even really have time to explore the whole venue or see all the cars... e.g. I saw the 4.2l GranTurismo, but had no idea there was a BiTurbo at the show! LOL. Like your pics BTW :D

Hopefully we'll be able to catch up properly at another show or meet-up.

Hope you enjoyed the show(?)

Cheers,
T (first name is just T, yes honestly it really is! LOL)

Ok, T it is.

I enjoyed the day too. Next time I'll exhibit or do the charity runs. I'm still thinking about doing Bruntingthorpe.

I'm based in Burton-on-Trent so happy to meet up, I just need a bit of notice so I can clear it with the wife.

Glad you liked the pictures.

Tony

What a collection of great cars....T, MC looking great as usual.
Cheers bud, yep, 'MC2' certainly seemed to draw quite a lot of attention, with a number of people saying it was their favourite car of the whole show (an that included the likes of a Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster and Aventador Roadster, as well as Astons, Ferraris, etc.

Hi T
Yes it is. I'm going to get in touch with the photographer for a few shots as I think they're great!
Sorry didn't see you to have a chat, I did see you passing giving rides but you looked extremely busy. Maybe at another meet. Great day and so pleased the weather held out.

Red suits the GTS so very well. Could well be my favourite colour for it. The carbon pack really finishes it off nicely.

Hi Nick. Had I known it was yours I'd have tried harder to get a few shots as well. Very nice car it is too.

I'm with you on that one Adam. I initially started looking at grey and black until I saw the red one, asked on here peoples thoughts on they colour and they told me to make the jump and go for red!! So pleased I did. It shows the GT lines off beautifully.

Your GT S does look rather awesome to say the least. As Adam says, it looks great in red, and the 'black' carbon options really 'beef the car up'.
TBH I didn't even see your car there I was so busy :/ I'll try and arrive on time next year so that I hopefully get a bit more time to see explore the show. ...I was so busy I didn't even realise my mates from Lamborghini Leicester were also there; where on Earth was the Garden Rooms?!?
