As far as I'm aware, it's never on the V5c. If you're a private seller I believe it's immoral but not illegal to not declare the fact that it's a CAT car. As a trade retailer it's illegal not to declare the fact. It's only cheap if it's a good car and I reckon he'll be thinking £10k+. It'll cost £500 to go and get it and once you're there you're not in the best of positions to haggle if there's anything untoward. Pretty awkward to arrange an inspection too.

Could be a good project car if you are confident in its condition.
Boomerangs, pearlescent white paint job, red retrimmed interior with sparco R700 'MCV' seats....wait a minute?...

I know where Torre Del Mar is and think I may have seen this car there! Looks ok for the money but would want to see repair work if it is indeed a cat c. If you ask them they have to tell you if they know or something like that.

I have told all that have asked that it is registered on the cat register, but is 'condition checked', that means it was repaired properly.
As the car only had a dinted wing and small dint on bonnet, i am amazed they wrote it off. Loz went well overboard, and replaced loads of items, that were clearly not broken, or damaged. I have all the paperwork and pics, to show the work done.
Car has done probably no more then a 1000 miles since I bought it. It is truely in a stunning condition. Cat registered or not, it is probably in better condition then many cars a lot younger. A proper bargain, and only selling, because of a new business venture is taking all my time, and i cannot give the Maser the attention, it deserves.
