Love my 3200gt so the 156 GTA has to go.

Hi,
I have just done over 1400 miles in the week after buying a 3200gt.
I didn't sell my Alfa in case the Maserati wasn't what I hoped, but it is everything I hoped for and more, so the Alfa has to go, unfortunately.

glad you are enjoying the old girl! they are just a little special.......have to say though, much as I love marci you are a braver man than me planning to run a 32 as a daily........especially with 1400 a week.....jeez, that's a service every 2/3 months! so not just brave but with deep pockets. lol

Yep couldn't do it at all. One I like the specialness and novelty on only driving a few times a week and also the thing is so temperamental I couldn't rely on it lol!

This was driving it back from Newcastle and then several days holiday in Broadstairs, Kent then Stone, Staffs then Llandudno,

A normal week will involve 2 or 3 25 mile commutes from Tunbridge Wells to Crawley.

I might be mad but I'm not mental.

Antony has got himself a good reliable car that's been very well looked after in the past. She was my daily for 3 years and I think Chris who bought her from me used her for his commute for quite a while as well. No reason why a good 3200 couldn't be used in the way Antony is proposing.

Good ;uck with the sale..Always had a soft spot for the GTA......They must eventually become a sort after classic.....Evnetually....maybe.

3200's are reliable if looked after, we drove ours to Monte Carlo and back with no issues at all and that involves a few miles..!!

That's good to hear as I am due to take it to Angouleme in September for the Circuits des Remparts.
Another 1000 miles on the clock...

Take some 10w60 oil with you, we found it hard to come by..!!

I agree, I have been to Le man and Brittany this year and done 12 k miles over 4 years with no problems just regular services each year and doing the items advised by a good independent.

Mine has been good in terms of servicing but plagued with Drive By Wire issues. I need an auto electrician to check everything thoroughly ASAP
