I went to look at a XR4x4 saloon in the 80s, I had a granada 2.3 , drove it 60 miles to birmingham with cash hanging out of my pocket but we were £500 apart on the PX and he wouldn't budge , drove home gutted

Had a xr4x4 for a couple of years. Brilliant car but remember it regularly eating the front drive shafts.
