I think the SD name has been dropped altogether by Maserati as they never referred to it as anything but Diagnosi.
Interestingly enough i must say, its is not like the Ferrari tester, its far superior because Maserati got involved with the Fiat group to develop it, where as ferrari did all the development themselves. This means more funding for more development and a better piece of equipment, less problems, etc.
Its not perfect however, the development and updates are vast and it is getting better by each week. Also the support from Maserati is excellent as well.
