Launch X431 CRP919E Compatible with Coupe

Hello all. Mentioned elsewhere but I thought best as its own thread for visibility. After a bit of research, email and ordering, I can confirm that the LAUNCH X431 CRP919E (and I believe the CRP919X) scan tool seems to have the same functionality on our cars as the much loved Pros Mini. I’ve been able to scan all modules and write things like the PIS successfully. This will hopefully be of use because at the time of writing it’s available about £200 cheaper than the usually recommended model.

Excellent. I have been looking. Is the 919e wired and the 919x bluetooth?

Not sure of the difference between the two I’m afraid but yes the connection on the 919E is cabled.

That’s good to know, will it do everything? Airbag, abs as well as gearbox / clutch etc
Might get myself one.
Take it you bought direct from the launch website?

Yes reads the ABS and Airbag modules. I haven't seen anything that it can't do that the Pros Mini does.

Mine incidentally was second hand on eBay rather than a new one.

Looks like the 919x BT might be the one to go for. It has slightly more to offer than the pro elite although does not connect to some of the other service devices they sell, it is bluetooth and a slightly larger battery.

Having a proper look and most seem to be Chinese knock offs, (£500-600 range) is this what everyone is using without issue? Or a link where to buy would be spot on. Cheers
