YES and No,i thought they were too expensive at £1200 when offered on here as well but "No Offers" means exactly that. I went to £1000 and was told basically to go jump off a cliff !
I have now aquired a set of quicksilver that have now bedded in beautifully...No resonance and sound great.Cost £450 and were like new

Sorry Adam but there still quicksilver, a compromise at best , that'll be the first set of quciksilvers with no resonance

love to compare them to a larini "side by side" then...maybe i would go for a second user set for £800-£1000 but i am not dissapointed with the pipes i have at the moment and i was told that there was resonance on larini at 2-3000 rpm

Tubi do have a very brief resonance band of around 2-300 revs in the 22 -2500 rev band , as you know i have them on my 4200 , not yet heard of anyone with Larini's on a Maseer that has mentioned or complained of boominess or resonance , thats what Larini are renowned for , they are tuned exhausts specifically for the purpose , not just some shiny cans that change the tone

Well "means to an end" i guess Loz but as an experiment or mediation set the quicksilver seem to give an indication of potential sound and also livability in a sport exhaust for little money second hand.
If the larini mentioned were closer to the £750 then i would now be sporting those but alas..he rejected my offer of £1000 which i though was fair for an unvalved set.
....maybe he is regretting this now....... but maybe not

In one repect Adam you have done the right thing, now you can bide your time and get a set at a bargain price as and when they pop up ,which they do occasionally i bought my own Tubi's for £450 from ebay , just 3 months old , guy gave me the receipt he paid to have them fitted on his Gransport at Marranello's £1650 so the bargains do happen , bit like your B and O thingy,

Re the picture of them fitted , i will be able to oblige after the weekend , the car is having its stone chipped bumpers resprayed and the wheels refurbed in black, It'll be ready to collect on the 23rd but i have opted to leave the car at the bodyshop or Roberto's for selling , if i bring the baby home , i fear it will remain with me and re-spark my interest once again when its gleaming ,possibly to only do another 350 miles in the next year , im on strict orders at home that i cant buy another untill one has gone , so hence it will be up forsale , already have one guy thats interested

Prices for Larini exhausts are set by Larini themselves and no distributors are allowed to discount their products, hence the same price as Larini directly.

Feel free to give us a call to discuss or if you have any questions.

Thanks
