Morning all ,

I have had an intermittent cel over the last few weeks , not been on for any length of time . Coming home last night it came on for a short time - then got to a nice fast bit of road and gave it some beans it dissapeared again . Was not on this morning though - read codes and found the culprit was Lambda sensor bank 1 . Just been out and put some fuel in and a good shot of redex - all clear for now . In case it's not an isolated incident thought I would enquire where was the best place to buy for quality and value - I have a miriad of suppliesr offering but would be grateful of some first hand feedback . Also I am assuming that cos mine is a pre 2001 car it only has 1 Lambda per bank ?

thanks in advance

Steve, there are a few posts about this I think in the alternative parts section.....or do a search, also thinking the parts mentioned are for the 4200....not sure about the 3200

Hi Steve,

Looking at the parts diagram, different markets worldwide had different configurations. In Australia there is only 1 per bank but I have seen where two are specified as well for some markets. It does seem as though the extra pair are for a later assembly number so you are likely correct having an earlier car. I used Bosch OEM parts supplied by one of the many online suppliers in the UK.

Hi,
I bought mine from www.worldcarparts.co.uk for £54 +VAT ea. They were the Bosch OEM parts with the correct plug - part number 0258003819. They also fit a 456GT and a 550 Maranello.

Mine's a 2000 car and has one per bank pre cat, there's also a thermocouple after the cat. Later cars had one pre and one post cat on each bank, so I understand.

Regards,

Steve
