Kiss Point

I had a new clutch fitted last March to the Gransport and since then have covered little more than 1000 miles. I was wondering how important it is to have the kiss point adjusted after having a new clutch fitted - there was a terrible smell of burning clutch reversing out of my garage when the engine was cold the other day

I got a few smells off mine too UM...esp if doing it up an incline.....try to restrict doing it to once a year(!)...seems standard enough........didn't they advise you after they installed it?

I would say definitely, insist its done. Mind you if they dont want to do it, they might just leave it in the car park and tell you they did it?

Then again, maybe I am being a bit harsh on them.

I don't think for a moment that HR Owen would say they would do it and then just ignore it. They are too professional for that
