If the door, wing and rear panel are the same as on the granturismo with max 5k-7k this car will look like brand new..of course with used parts

The reason the GT is uneconomic to repair is due to the suspension and drive train damage...panels are easy but the front is unique to the Strad and if there is any damage to the bonnet that is a carbon fiber part which will be at least £10k...hence the write off.

Oddly enough the Strad bonnet is showing cheaper on Eurospares than the steel one. £2.8k against £5.7k (both plus VAT). I know... go figure!

Well chaps I may well go for the GS never done anything like this before.... The fixing won't be a worry but the purchase may not be easy as I'm sure there will be many after it. Keep my fingers crossed.

P

I wish you luck, but the car looks great appart from the rear end damage.
It's probably worth more than 10k for spares alone.
