Juke Box on the GT

Could I ask advice from anyone with a GT?

I just bought a GT- and the jukebox is full of music not quite to my taste shall we say.

There seems to be a single CD in the head unit, and I believe a disc changer somewhere else.

1) Could someone please tell me how to delete the jukebox and start again and if you can programme it at all with any album art (I know unlikely on this system!)

2) Where could the disc changer be?

I have looked
At the infotainment manual but I can't find anything about jukebox. Not sure if it's just the 'QuickStart guide' telling what the buttons do etc.

Thanks a lot

As far as I know there is no changer.
No album art that I can see

To delete:

Get into Jukebox
Hit Menu
Scroll down to Jukebox Management
Select Delete Jukebox Data

At least that's what my Multi Media manual tells me. You should have that one as well

Yep, it only takes a few seconds to delete everything but somewhat longer to load sadly!

Yeah, you're not wrong! Do you know if it carries on loading if you stop and get out? Or do you need to be running the car for the unfeasible length of time?

It should resume the next time you switch on, whether it be the copying or compressing cycle - I've never had any issues

Mine asks if I want to resume...don't press "no" unless you want to start over :)

Apart from loading quite slowly (I think a few Gb takes a couple of hours) the system isn't that bad. Also spend a bit of time thinking about how you search for music - naming your albums to suit can help.

Agreed, it's a decent system and with the Bose, it packs a fair punch - I can almost hear it over my exhaust so it must be reasonably good
