Jay Kay Auctions Maserati For $1.6 Million

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has sold one of his vintage supercars for a staggering $1.6 million (£1 million) at auction.
The singer, who owns a huge collection of cars, entered his 1955 Maserati into a sale at Pebble Beach, California earlier this month (Aug12).

The car sparked a bidding war, and finally sold for $1.6 million.

Kay says, "This Maserati has been one of my favourite cars not only to show at concours level but also to drive on the road, especially through Italy on the Mille Miglia.

Wish I had the same issue with my Italian cars shooting up in price.

They had an A6G at Bill McGraths the other week - that was California registered, IIRC. The owner wanted a second one! I wonder if it was him that bought this.

That very car would be near the very top of the list if I ever make serious wedge.

Thank you Woody. I believe it was yourself that helped a few months ago on the other side with the squeeking suspension top mounts. Advise was much appreciated and all squeeking had disappeared.
