What the lead time on delivery?

I'm uming and arring on whether to order one. Don't really want to wait six months for one.

That's one of the reasons why I reconsidered my order. I'm just impatient though, if I want a new toy I don't want to have to wait very long for it.

Did not realise you had cancelled Pat...there are no decent interim options on the market yet. ..both Matt and I are looking to no avail.

Re waiting six months for an order: that seems to be what happens if a car is popular. Personally, I would be prepared to do that for the right car. I waited 8 months from order to delivery for my RR and didn't regret it; if I ordered now it would not be much less of a wait, and meanwhile I have mine now. Depends on if they really take off and are in demand.

To add to what others have said, I like that colour combo in the Bowker car (tan leathers seem to be quite to modern tastes if nicely specced, seen this on the RR too). Will be interested to hear the car, after what Gary has said. Growing on me, but will not swop the QP!

Agree Norman, many new cars end up having a waiting list...thats just life.......most top end stuff is 6 months or more especially when its a new model....

Yes, ordered my new Disco recently and they said 6 months for FFRR or RRS.

Yeah, I rang up the local Alfa dealership about a 4C as an interim option, but the production numbers are so very low that there is even less chance of getting one of those!

I still haven't written off the idea of a Ghibli, I'm just holding fire. But I'm really a coupe man, so the Ghibli doesn't ring all of my bells...

Having said that MS it is in profile almost coupesque is it not...almost akin to the Audi/Merc of that style?

Coupe's are few and far between for a good one...even more if you want low miles...GT is a little heavy for some and as time goes by the search is even harder.

Wonder if we will see a Coupe for Ghibli money later on.....I know the talk of the Gransport is of a car that will cost 80 to 100k.....A Maserati Coupe at the same price point as the Ghibli would be good.

Why not, got the engines, got the platforms......a few new pressings/interiors.... off you go....spread the cost and widen the appeal/range

I know there are lots that will not want Maserati to make too many models and cars due to the exclusiveness of the marque.....As you say Frank...they have started now so may as well carry on and gun for Merc etc...

My wife and I are just heading up to Bowker to have a good look at it and meet the team up there. Will share some thoughts later :)

Sadly no, but I look forward to that day :)

We enjoyed our visit to the dealership. Met and had a long chat with Jim who was very welcoming and friendly. They have a few new cars but are clearly short of used stock. He was interested in my GTS!

Ghibli is very nice, and if I was in the market for a mid-sized 4 door saloon, it would certainly be my choice over the mainstream German and British competition. Although, it feels what is is, factory rather than hand made, it still has that Maserati design and feel. You can still feel the passion, and it still has enough design cues to interest and excite you. Yes I like it, the interior consistently, the exterior from most angles too, except possibly the front which my wife thought was a little dull, and I am inclined to agree.

Definitely worth the trip to take a look and meet the team.
