What the lead time on delivery?

I'm uming and arring on whether to order one. Don't really want to wait six months for one.

if you are building to your own spec you need to allow 3-4 months at the moment, this will improve in a couple of months time as the factory checks will decrease.
I have approx 10 cars for delivery before march, all are already specd, some basic cars right through to a couple of fully loaded cars.
You may get one for march, if ordered quickly and dependant where the car is in the build process....

Sadly no, but I look forward to that day :)

We enjoyed our visit to the dealership. Met and had a long chat with Jim who was very welcoming and friendly. They have a few new cars but are clearly short of used stock. He was interested in my GTS!

Ghibli is very nice, and if I was in the market for a mid-sized 4 door saloon, it would certainly be my choice over the mainstream German and British competition. Although, it feels what is is, factory rather than hand made, it still has that Maserati design and feel. You can still feel the passion, and it still has enough design cues to interest and excite you. Yes I like it, the interior consistently, the exterior from most angles too, except possibly the front which my wife thought was a little dull, and I am inclined to agree.

Definitely worth the trip to take a look and meet the team.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to our dealership. Sorry I wasn't there to meet you, was delivering a GTS to a new Maserati customer in Buckinghamshire.

Used car stock is difficult to come by, registering only a few hundred cars a year makes it impossible to find any good used ones, plus having sold and delivered 4 used Maserati last week depleted our stock.

Keep an eye open for our updates and keep in touch.

Well, things need to exponentially pick up Gary....we've all read the targets set....so you need to get to a point where you're selling 4 times your turn over now in order to get there in 3 years time.....having said that, most of the expansion will take place in new markets, nevertheless they will expect mature markets to kick A55 too..........so maybe doubling your sales will do!!!!

^ Looks to me like it's the factory that can't keep up with demand, not a dealership issue. IIRC, the dealerships have been given a very small quota to sell. Once sold, new customers have to wait for the next round.

As I see it, if there is huge demand then Maserati won't be able to meet it through their existing factory output.

Thing is, we want Masers to remain exclusive, so I hope Maserati don't mass-produce the cars. Take away the mystique and exclusivity, and a petrol Ghibli (on paper at least) struggles to match performance saloon competitors such as the C63 AMG and M3.

So best to retain that mystique and exclusivity (ie, not sell too many).

JMHO!

That doesn't sound too bad. I'm not in a position to place an order yet, but will be in a much better position about March time, by which time the lead time shouldn't be too bad.
