Hi guys,

as most of you already know, our Alfa Romeo Cyprus Club is organizing an Italian Car Fest at the State Fare on the 16th and 17th of November.

Our event will be hosted by the Boyz Stuff Show - which is on those dates at the State Fare.
The reasons why we decided to do this event along side the Boyz Stuff Show are:

- Indoors hosting
- 2 Day event
- Thousands of spectators which will attend the Boyz Stuff Show will also have the opportunity to visit our event
- Publicity exposure throughout our own advertising of the event and through the Boyz Stuff Show advertising material.

Now,

Our event will be hosted in Pavilion 6, and it will be consisted of approximately 60 Italian Cars, mostly Alfa Romeo's, and also Fiat, Lancia, Ferrari and Maserati.

Due to the restriction in the allowed space we have to make this event possible at the State Fare, a committee of the club has hand picked cars, judged by the condition, in order to cover as wider a range of models as possible.

Members commitment was taken into consideration, so that we could be as fair as possible.

Below, the part of the Greek email that has been sent to our members concerning this event:

Το πρώτο θέμα αφορά το Italian Car Fest 2013 το οποίο διοργανώνει το Alfa Romeo Cyprus Club στα πλαίσια του Boyz Stuff Show στο περίπτερο 6 της κρατικής έκθεσης.

As a reminder, I would like to add that those who will be participating with their car/cars, should be in the Fair outside the Pavilion at a designated afternoon time on Friday 15th, which will be announced in the next days. The committee will be there to guide the cars to specific places. Please, keep in mind that this formula is crucial for our convenience, in order to avoid confusion, delays and irritation. That is why we will probably divide the cars into time segments, according to their places in the lot.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated! :)
Let us all enjoy our show!!

Philio, Pavilion 6 is huge.

We will be at the very end, right after the classics.
Our space has been confirmed and reserved. Been negotiating for weeks :)

The classics and dealerships ARE part of the Boyz Stuff Show.
Consider us being a show inside a show ;)

Alfasud is now clean and covered. Being an unrestored car in an excellent condition (I think it is...) not much else to do. For the concour ones even a particle of dust is considered DIRT!! Oh well let the show begin........

Mine went to the mechanic today with all the parts in the trunk. It will be ready by Friday morning (I'll make sure it WILL be :)), and I'll bring it with a 1984 Strada 130TC. :p

So I need logistical ideas:

I have to bring 3 cars to the show.
I need to prep them (a wash and not more because I'm not up to spending that much money)
I have no chance to get a minute off work this week as I have lots to do
I need the abarth until Friday evening as that's my daily driver
No one but me can drive the Ferrari so don't even go there :)

Yea that's about it

I have a semi plan in my head, let's see what you guys can add to it :p

Right.....

Thursday night, go get the spider from your parents house , we'll give it a quick wash over at my house, cover it up, and I'll take you back to get your abarth.

Then, come Friday, go at your parents again, pick up the Ferrari, bring it at the state fare stopping by Andros on your way there to give it a wash.
Once you are there, I'll take you back (or whoever else is up to it) to get your abarth and go home.

Go home, stopping by Andros again for a quick wash of the Abarth, have a rest, and by 10pm come over again and bring the Abarth.
I'll take you home on my way home as well.

Alternatively...

I've asked Tio Ellinas - the Formula 3/2/1 Driver - to bring his 500 Abarth instead.
He hasnt replied yet, and I dont know if he will be in Cyprus at the time, but if he is and if he is up for it, I can relieve you off one car.

How about that ?

Just to let you guys know....

Seriously, this has been taken A LOT of effort from Vasilis, Costas, Pavlos and me.
Nikolas helped a bit, but he run to Austria to hide, so we will make sure to make him suffer when he gets back ;)

oh well, got another half a day worth of running and headaches.

Then by tomorrow, whats done is done.

At least tomorrow we will all be at the same place, so I wont have to be on the phone every 20 seconds :)
