Same in north west London. If the car is properly waxed, I find you can do more frequent 10-15 minute cleans just by hosing down (I have a Karcher pressure washer), spray with something like demon shine or Chemical Guys after-wash and then gently wiping off with a waffle-weave micro fibre towel

Take care with fine swirls and scratches if you're not using a shampoo, as the foam pre washes won't get all the fine dirt particularly on the sills and lower doors etc.
