Insuring a South Africa national in UK...temporarily

Guys, any one know an insurer who will do this for a classic car?

No-one sems interested not even the daily inusrers...needs to be an EU license!

Could try Adrian Flux who are a broker for many insurers, but probably have already? When we moved to the Uk last year I bought an M5 and had an Australian drivers licence and they were able to arrange cover, even took into account my insurance history in Australia after they verified details with the company in Oz. They went out of their way to take care of a situation that many company would consider too hard.

Would it not make sense for the SA to approach his insurers to provide cover?

He finally had to insure his Lancia with Directline who then offered him temp cover....no one else was interested
