Hi All

Just to advise my GT is now in a specialist storage facility for probably the remainder of Sept. We have the builders in ( friend ) to re-do the Kitchen. So called friend wants the garage space to store deliveries and put the Kitchen together. Therefore I will probably go quiet for a while and obviously not attend any meets in September. I will be looking forward to the finish date ! No not the Kitchen - my car !!!

Regards

heheh Dont knock us Kitchen fitters, what you have to realise is that your whole house hold centers around the kitchen , the more space he has the easier and quicker he will be done, nothing more frustrating than having no space and having to do it in the existing Kitchen , doubles the amount of time to complete, do yourself a favour make a small separate kitchen area in another room , complete with Microwave and fridge , and tea/coffee making , he'll appreciate it and so will your wife , just glad all our units come factory built , saves loads od agg , but then you need even more space

keep the mas well away

Hi Loz

Thanks. Yes will make temp kitchen in lounge. His exact words were something like " I don't give a **** about your *** car, get it out of my way unless you want a soggy kitchen and a big *** scratch on your motor" ! Also he's going to block the other garaged car by dumping a 6 yarder right in front of it because he doesn't want to walk ten yards with the old units ! I'm going to super glue his router to floor :)

What you want to do , is cut him down to size and have a laugh at his expense at the same time , each night when he finishes , play about with the hinge adjustment screws to the doors so they are out of allignment , and say to him in the morning hope all work is not like this , after the 3rd/4th day he should cotton on and you can both laugh it off

Had one of my customers once , got a blooody marble out and checked all the units and worktops for level cheeky bugger , when he wasn't looking i took it of the window cill and flat spotted it with my grinder , on the last day i walked him round the finished article and proved to him it was all level............ as i tucked his wonger in my back pocket i showed him the marble and he had to laugh

Thanks Loz. I was thinking of making up some time cards with their names on ( sparkie friend of friend also coming ) and stick them on the wall ! Clock watching always makes them bite :) I'll have to tread carefully as he got me 40% off with trade card.
