Impressed with GT tiptronic

i was a bit worried that I would miss the manual shifting of the old 4200 CC with my new Granturismo but have to say that the tiptronic mode works very well.....much better than some other tiptronics I have tried.....this autobox does give the best of both worlds...smooth" point and press" for most of the time but when in hooligan mode shift into manual sport mode and it is fun to use; quick paddle shifts, holds to the red line and is totally intuitive to use after the cambiocorsa...(it even downshifts on its own like the old CC)

Dare I say it it is nice to get SMOOOOOOOOOOOTH shifts after six years of paddle shifting and no twitch of the right foot on each gearchange.......

Satnav is an improvement on the 4200 but still nowhere near as good as the wife's S Max one (no postcode input still!)

That is interesting to hear RB as I was only going to go MC Shift as I thought the Auto would be too slow. Maybe I'll give one a spin.

We all talk about the GT S and don't mention the GT otfen so good to hear some positive reports of the car...Glad you are enjoying her..
