I have been receiving reports that a certain Maserati forum has been publishing and spreading rumors that we are a commercial forum.
I would like to clear this up once and for all.
We have invited companies and services to advertise on our site free of charge. We have only outgoing funds for our dedicated server, plus any promotional items, which are funded by donations from the forum owners own pockets. For these donations, we receive no benefits other than personal enjoyment.
Many £k's of web development has been donated again, with no commercial benefit.
You may have notice the shop and merchandise tabs appear at the top.
MERCHANDISE (containing no items for sale)
We will be offering, SportsMaserati.com branded promotional items at cost once our logo identity has been approved by Maserati UK. These will be sold at cost with a 0% mark up. You will have to opportunity to make a donation to running costs upon purchasing these items, but it is not manditory. Its down to your own discretion if you make a small percentage donation to the running cost of SportsMaserati.com and this is seen as a way you can show your appreciation to all the hard work that has gone into making SportsMaserati.com a reality.
SHOP (containing no items for sale)
We are in negotiations to allow an aftermarked tuning company to sell its products via our website. We are doing this to make these products available to you easily and cost effectively. We will make NO money from the sale of items in our shop and upon purchasing via our shop you will enter directly into a financial agreement with the supplying 3rd party.
If at the end of a given period, we find we have receive more donations than are needed, these funds will be made available at an annual event, for use by attending members in the way of refreshments, prizes and awards.
The word Commercial comes from Commerce or 'intended for financial gain'. We do not make or trade funds so by that fact:

The individual making these allegations knows who they are, and in the interest of fairness, I am going to let this one go, but consider it 'NOTED'. Any further allegations will be followed up with appropriate action.
