I have considered the Lupo/Arosa, 50mpg, i bet it would do about 550 miles between fill ups, that is cheap motoring.

You are correct in this Adam, the Seat Arosa S is a great little car and goes on and on and on without the need for stops for fuel very much at all.
I bought the Ex a 1.0s Arosa a few years back and paid around £8k for it (new) it had a few early niggles with electric windows and so on but verything was done without fuss under warrenty.
Have to say though that she did get used to the car evry fast and hankered after something a little larger engine wise.
Less than a year later and with 3800 miles on the clock we had an absolute nightmare trying to PX it in for a larger car and the best offer we had was £3500 as a PX from a seat dealer!!
In the end i sold it to my sister in law for the best price we could get for it..which was £3500,so they got a 10 month old car for silly money.
