And dare I say, a bit on the cheeky side by stu. You have to hope he has typed an extra 0.........

Bit in the checky side....Taking rise more like. Parts are getting rare no doubt about that but that's just a silly price. But if it's a sellers market then these parts are only going one way. It's another reason why these cars are so cheap compared with other V8 exotics. Lack of parts from Maserati and the ones there are they ask a fortune for. Its also making insurance companies write them off if they have a minor bang. If you need two front wings and a grill at this price they ain't going mend it. It's a real shame.

Absolutely crazy price for a 2nd hand grille. No way anything is worth that but hats off to Stu....nothing wrong with a bit of entrepreneurial activity. If the market pays it so be it.

Obviously most on here would be a bit smarter or industrious & work a slightly more cost effective solution. However idiot insurance companies will just pay it as it is just a number in a claim. They won't care....a claim is a claim if the numbers work it makes no difference if a single nut or Bolt cost 500 quid.

Only issue is people doing a quick nick on parts like this. Used to happen to CATS a while back.

Recently a colleague had her mini rear brake caliper bolts nicked we believe as they were in constraint. She came to work with no brakes for the last mile! The o/s/r caliper was hanging off!!

I find it pretty offensive myself ! I know I expressed my outrage elsewhere...
It'll sit on the shelf, unbought at that price. No ones gains.

Bloody ****! Could have killed someone for some bolts. Sickening.

If the parts situation is really that serious I'm going not going to purchase a 4200 coupe to replace the spyder I sold last year.

Parts are as expensive as any other Maserati but 4200 has pretty good availibility for most spares compared to 3200 and Ghibli etc...
