I will say this very quietly...I like the X6...But agree...M version of the X6 and X5 is not what the brand needs..BMW are chasing Merc AMG with these and I don't think many have been sold...Pointless. BMW should be looking to make the 1 series coupe into a M...Thats the right size car and would be closer to the old E30 M3.....And as I understand it they have listened to me and it's on the way.

Hideous! I just don't understand the X6. Isn't it just an X5 with less boot room?
Still, have you seen the new baby Range Rover model?

Another 'triumph of design' - I think not.
There was a time when Land Rover had it right with the RR. When I had mine I was proud to drive it, it had a fantastic image. Then they produced the RR Sport, a car for drug dealers and estate agents which lowered the prestige image overnight. Now with this contraption (I believe it's a Freelander in an ugly dress) they will take the image and exclusivity of the Range Rover name to a point where it is lost completely. I wonder how many white ones will be driving around Essex and Cheshire in the coming months...

That new Range Rover or Wayne Wover as it is known as here in cheshire as all 4x4's are blinged up does look rather nice, BMW better watch out.

Suppose the problem is they will not survive just building the type od vehicles they do now....Must prestige/Sports cars marques are looking at different ways to stay keep heads above water and for LR this is the bread butter car along with the freelander.
