I sold my GT 6 months back before travelling as it was my second car and not being used, I'm looking around at 2007-2009 to replace it with anything under 30,000 miles the prices seem to be the same as last year how are they holding up depreciation wise? Could anyone give me a idea what they have lost?

If it was an early 4.2 Auto they have just dropped below the £30k barrier unless v.low miles and in first class condition...having said that a larger proportion are still around the early thirties but deals are there to be made far more than 12/18 months ago.

As Pete has said...a few below 30k with higher miles but most still above 30k....Prices haven't really fallen a great deal in the last year. 30 to 35k seems where they have stuck......towards 40k seems harder to sell as the 4.7 is not far from the other side of 40k.

It's the same as always, when you have one you want them to remain high but as you are buying you want them low :D

I am happy for my GTS to stay above £40k for as long as I have it :)

It depends how long you intend on keeping this one of course!
The GTS prices are nudging the £40k mark now and I think we will soon see quite a few sub £40k, especially as the mileages creep up

When I bought my GT 4.2, I already set my own expectations as far depreciation. I was happy to own a car that I knew may depreciate to £25-27k despite buying it in the low/mid 30s. Losing a few thousands in depreciation over 3+ yrs to drive such a nice car is no worse than buying a brand new Mini for £20k and selling it 3yrs mater for £10k... LoL
