Standing by waiting for the flatbed to arrive.
What they don't tell you about Maserati ownership:
1) Open an account with a towing company
2) Ensure your dealer's on speed dial
3) There IS some sort of sado-masochist fetish in there somewhere
Less than a month after the QP made it's way back to the dealers on a flatbed, the same thing has happened again: a myriad of lights came on and the car died, giving me just enough time to pull into a cul-de-sac. And I'm afraid, that's exactly as the sign below says - it's a dead end.
The QP HAS to go - can't do this anymore.
Funnily enough I was visiting a good friend of mine this morning that heads up a group of local Mercedes-Benz dealerships and saw a gorgeous S500 on the floor. I liked it, but wasn't convinced. I am now. Stuff the hand built low volume purgatory and bring on the mass produced, bland yet reliable, mediocrity.
