High Level Brake Light Change - Granturismo

Chaps,

Already searched the threads as this is likely to be a common niggle, but found references only to GS and 4200, and looks a different approach to the Granturismo.

My high level brake light has failed, and we know that it recommends that a service agent changes this.

However, some of you have done this on other models: moving rear seat backs, parcel shelf, parking sensors etc.

Is it the same faff on the GT, or has someone found how to remove the roof mounted surround without doing all of that and replacing the lamp?

Thanks

Robin

Not for the GT Matt as the unit is in the roof lining.

Given they are LEDs I suspect it is a power issue as for all the units to fail at once would be unlikely. Have all the fuses been checked first...or give it a thump in case its just a loose connection.

If non of the above I suspect the roof lining needs to be dropped at the rear and that would require the C pillqrs xovers to be removed first.

Thanks chaps, that now makes sense. Fuses, try a thump, then examine pillars etc to see what faff. I know that they are only advisory, if thump, fuse doesn't fix, may leave for a spring service.

Thanks again.
