Help! Stuck

Hi chaps, I am stuck in my favourite pub car park (what a quandary!).

The car is a QP V 2009 4.2L wet sump.

The ignition comes on. The tracker beeps occur but with the next turn of the car key the car does not start. No noise, clicking, nothing. The fuel tank is 1/8 full with the orange warning light on. The car is on flat ground.

It did this on last Friday 1/8th full but on an incline. After 20 attempts it randomly worked. It was fine yesterday. I filled up the tank with 5L of petrol from a top up fuel can yesterday.

There is also a service expiry warning thats been there for a month.

Thoughts please gents?

Get out lock and unlock it.

Move the gear lever through its range and back to park. Give it a wiggle in park.

Give the ignition key a wiggle as you turn it.

Check the battery terminals are tight.

I added 10L of fuel. That wasn't the issue. I have just left the pub but did cycle through the gears before reading this reply. I left it in the pub car park.

Battery jumps to mind - I had similar issues when I bought my GTS. New battery sorted it. Have you tried a tried a jump start?
