Help/advice please

This happened to mine. The problem was the glass was out of the runner as the runner was slightly twisted at the front end of the door, causing glass to slide out. Going down it would slide back in. Up was the problem

Well its 9pm now so I'm finishing for the night but will do some more work on it tomorrow. I have found the lower mounting point for the guide for the front edge of the glass (part number 12) so I can try that. Still can't see or feel the upper mounting point though.
Thanks for all your invaluable help so far.

One other thought is that now you’ve cleared any stubborn dirt/debris from the channels with your pry tool, I’d hit the channels again with some silicone lubricant and this time run the windows up and down a bit so the lube travels into the channels and the channel contact areas of the windows.

Well here we go again.
Front passenger window regulator fixed and working well.
Windscreen wipers repaired and working well, I think (It's the middle of a dry summer, so yet to try them in proper rain.)
I have a little blob of Dum Dum replacement to apply and report on, but apart from that, its time to get started on the offside rear window regulator which went "graunch" and stopped working pretty much the same moment the screen wipers went bang.
So here we go....
This is pretty much what I ordered: a repair kit, since the complete assembly seems to be hard to get hold of at a sensible, or even somewhat elevated, price.

Having repaired the front one, a kit of parts like this seems entirely appropriate for the rear.
However, when it arrived, the package did not include the drive capstan ( the wheel, bottom centre in the photo.)
The supplier, in Germany, has been pleasant to deal with (via ebay, through which I bought) and seems keen to put it right. He wrote on Saturday to say he had despatched the correct kit which should arrive here by Wednesday. There was no VAT or import duty payable and holding up the delivery of the first kit he sent, unlike the more expensive entire assembly which I fitted to the front, so I am optimistic about having the parts by Wednesday. :)
